But it take no effects: I get not the menulet in the menubar. Today I've uninstall FP how described ("Uninstall FinderPop" in the prefPane and follows the instructions) and re-install FP 2.5.9-Beta as admin-user for "All Users". I had install FP 2.5.9-Beta over the existing version 2.5.7, which was disabled since upgrade of El Capitan. No, it wasn't a completely fresh install of FP. Then re-install the FP-2.5.9 you downloaded - making sure you choose to install for "All Users" instead of just you. Was this a completely fresh install of FP (ie it had never been installed on that system before)?Ĭan you go to the FinderPop prefPane's "Etc." tab, click "Uninstall FinderPop" and follow the instructions? Your FinderPop Items folder and FP settings will be untouched so you don't need to worry about losing data. It seems, that something blocks the menulet. What's wrong? I've understand your explanations, that the menulet should work with SIP is enabled. Rebooting my iMac or switching FP on and off takes no effect. But I can't see the menulet in the menubar, though I've enable it in the "Options" tab of the FP prefpane. Today, I've install FinderPop 2.5.9-Beta to try the menulet. SIP is enabled and I don't want disabling it. Recently I upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (10.11.2). I've use FinderPop for many years (since Mac OS 7.5 or 8) an I love it. Note that if you have 'Show All File Extensions' checked in the Finder Preferences' "Advanced" tab, that overrides any individual file's settings.įinderPop 2.5.9-BETA - no menulet in 10.11.2
